Commercial Underwriter

Eames Consulting are working with a reputable insurer on the appointment of a Property and Casualty Underwriter to be based in their Glasgow office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Underwrite complex Property and Casualty business profitably in line with underwriting practices and within delegated authority.
Develop and maintain strong broker relationships to drive growth and achieve profitability targets.
Collaborate with brokers and business developers to identify new opportunities and expand the business pipeline.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members, fostering skill development and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company underwriting standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial Property and Casualty underwriting Insurance environment.
