This position has arisen as a result of the promotion of an Underwriter, which is testament to the impressive career progression available within the company due to its continuous growth.
The role is based within the renewals department dealing with a wide variety of Social Welfare, Care, Not For Profit, and Charity policies.
Specific duties will include, but not be limited to, underwriting renewal cases, collaborating with the Claims team, and developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business.
You'll provide excellent service to brokers, prioritizing renewals and mid-term adjustments to ensure deadlines are met.
It is not essential that you have previous experience within Social Welfare/Care insurance, as full training will be provided.
However, you must have some underwriting experience encompassing Property (Commercial or Domestic) and/or Liability.
It may be that you are currently an Insurance Broker looking to transition into an underwriting role.
It's essential that you are well-organized and efficient, and as you'll regularly be dealing with brokers over the telephone, you'll be engaging and professional.
Our client operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work 2 days from home.
