Commercial & Strategy Director (Fixed Term Contract)

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial and Strategy Director for a 3 - 6 month fixed term contract, to oversee a high-stakes franchise for a major government client.
This hands-on role involves direct client interaction, strategic contract management, and oversight of a small, talented team, ensuring compliance, protecting revenue, and driving innovative commercial solutions in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities Build strong client relationships, ensuring franchise success and negotiating crucial contract adjustments.
Oversee contract management to drive revenue, compliance, and long-term profitability.
Lead with visible, hands-on guidance, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Align operations with business goals to protect assets and exceed client expectations.
Shape commercial strategies to maximize performance and reduce risk.
Experience Required Commercial leadership in infrastructure, asset management, or government contracts.
Proven track record in contract management, with high-level negotiation skills.
Financially astute, with the ability to optimize revenue and reduce liabilities.
Strong people skills—an inspiring, influential leader and communicator.
Industry background in infrastructure or operational environments preferred.
Location: London Compensation: £130,000 - £150,000 per annum (pro-rated for a 3-6 month fixed-term contract, Inside IR35), plus a 20% discretionary bonus and exceptional benefits.
