Job Title: Commercial Solicitor (Associate Level) Location: Leeds/Hybrid Experience Required: 1-4 Years PQE The Role: Our client seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Solicitor at associate level with 1-4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their expanding in-house team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support across a broad spectrum of commercial matters, working with a diverse client base, including large financial service organisations and various household names in the retail sector.
Key Responsibilities: Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service agreements, terms and conditions, NDAs, and risk reviews.
Advisory Services: Provide high-quality strategic legal advice on commercial transactions and compliance matters while mitigating commercial and legal risk.
Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, and delivering tailored legal solutions.
Legal Research: Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legal developments to provide informed advice to clients.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments within the firm to deliver integrated legal services and support the design of effective legal solutions for our clients.
Skills and Experience: Qualified to practice in England and Wales with 1-4 years PQE.
Experience in commercial law, having completed a commercial seat.
Procurement law.
Proven commercial contracts experience, either in-house or in private practice.
