Commercial Property Claims Handler Manchester Salary - up to £40K Hybrid working (3 days office, 2 days working from home)   Our client is an independent broker looking to expand its Manchester office with the addition of an experienced Commercial Property Claims Handler.  The Role: Reporting to the Claims Director, you will manage a portfolio of Commercial property losses, including Material Damage and Business Interruption.  There is no upper limit in value to these losses, so your caseload will be allocated on technically competencies.  Whilst there is no delegated authority, the Commercial Property Claims Handler role is by no means a post-box service.  You will present losses to insurers, manage the progress of the lifecycle and negotiate and challenge the settlement terms.  For those losses in excess of £100K or complex in nature, there may be a requirement for you to attend site.  The Required Skills: You will be expected to have a strong technical standing in commercial property claims, from a broker or insurer.  You will be confident in communicating with clients, insurers and relevant third parties.  As a Commercial Property Claims Handler this is an excellent opportunity to build on your technical knowledge and expertise and help support and mentor less experienced colleagues.
