Sun East Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to join our Lending Department.
The Commercial Portfolio Manager is responsible fo r assisting in the analysis and oversight of the Commercial Loan Portfolio and post-closing processes.
It provides overall support and assistance for ongoing loan documentation, maintenance of the member business loan portfolio, servicing, and administration within the Credit Union's policies and procedures.
This role has day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of superior member service, operational integrity, and adherence to credit union policy, as well as all state and federal regulations.

rESPONSIBiLITIES: Coordinate the annual review process to ensure it is completed in a timely manner.
Review personal and business financial statements for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure that loans are risk rated consistent with credit union policies and industry standards.
Manage and maintain the document tickler report.
Work with Relationship Managers to ensure the timely collection of financials, updated insurance, property tax payments, and other tickler items.
Maintain and manage all pending/outstanding loan documents, loan exceptions, and maturing loans.
Ensure commercial loan HMDA data is accurately collected and reported on the LAR.
Assist with coordinating loan closings, wire transfers, and participation loan transactions.
Manage archiving and retrieval of hard copy and electronic loan files and records.
Manage the file retention schedule.
Prepare monthly portfolio reporting on the commercial portfolio as requested by management.
Monitor all UCC filings, vehicle liens, mortgages, and other filings to ensure that they are completed and renewed in a timely manner.
Perform post-closing audit of the loan file ensuring that all loan files are uniform, ticklers are created, all documents are scanned to imaging, and all files have been certified according to policies and procedures.
Perform a post-closing search to ensure collateral liens have been recorded correctly.
Monitor business loan covenants.
Notify the VP and Relationship Managers of any that fall out of compliance.
Provide and process loan payoffs when requested.
Satisfy mortgages or other liens in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum three years of experience in business lending and credit management in a credit union or bank.
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred.
Experience in the analysis of personal and business financial statements.
Knowledge of financial statement interpretation as applied to business accounting and financial principles.
Knowledge of small business credit granting criteria, proper loan structure, and required documentation for each type of loan.
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability, and strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
WORK SCHEDULE This position works a hybrid schedule.
Regular hours are M-F 9am-5pm.
During the initial training period, on-site work will be necessary.
