Commercial Manager We are looking to appoint an ambitious and forward-thinking Commercial Manager to join our friendly, dynamic team, based in Lincoln.

The Commercial Manager will be required to ensure that all commercial aspects of the site projects are properly managed and controlled, to help the organisation deliver the highest quality jobs at the best possible cost.
This is a new position will oversee the commercial strategies at tender stage, monitor and report through to completion.
Roles/Responsibilities Include: • To manage and lead the Commercial Team.
• Take responsibility for financial management across a number of projects.
• Protecting the organisations contractual position.
• Put together bids and tenders to win new business.
• Carry out cashflow and work in progress reporting.
• Manage, review and report cost to complete forecasts and cashflows across all schemes.
• Manage & report on commercial risks and opportunities.
• Manage the contractual elements of the tender and preconstruction stages.
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts.
• Maintaining commercial control of subcontracts packages.
• Ensuring contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and subcontractors are administered.
• Oversee the monthly valuation process, claims preparation, final account negotiations, settlements and payment of contractors.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
We are ideally seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take on their next challenge and move into a management position, this individual should be experienced in contract management from bid through to completion ideally within the construction sector (Commercial or Residential).
