Commercial Manager – Cross portfolio – UK Our client is becoming a global organisation with the capacity to discover, develop, produce and market medicinal products and medical devices that can help to improve the quality of life of millions of people worldwide with a focus on Women's Health.
This newly created Commercial Manager (CM) role reports into the Country Manager.
They will be responsible for realising any additional commercial opportunities for the portfolio outside NHS prescribers.
Their portfolio is significant across different therapeutic areas that could be commercialised.
The CM would have responsibility for some of these products if the route to market is not via their traditional KAM model.
The customer base is likely to be, but not limited to: Large pharmacy chains Hospital tenders Buying groups Pharmacy associations Telehealth and private providers such as Babylon, Virgin etc Candidate background required; Demonstrable experience within a commercial role from within the UK Pharmaceutical industry Previous experience managing a product portfolio Ability to develop a concise business case based on commercial outcomes Numerically proficient and data driven Confident, entrepreneurial, ability to create strategy, flexible to the evolving portfolio and needs of the company Ability to demonstrate commercial capability and have existing relationships with some of the groups listed above Competent with the tender process across the whole of the UK This role will evolve with the right person, we need somebody to take the initial vision for the role and make it their own.
