Exciting Opportunity to join a quality focussed consulting firm delivering expert services to the infrastructure industry, specialising in quantity surveying, commercial management, financial auditing and more.
Working with a team that supports a variety of sectors, including rail, utilities, highways and other key infrastructure sectors.
You will be responsible for managing the business's commercial functions, collaborating and working directly with the Managing Director.
This role focuses on overseeing the financial health and contract obligations of projects, ensuring both profitability and compliance.
You will be focussed on building and strengthening relationships with existing clients and managing the commercial team, handling recruitment, training, performance, and succession.
In this pivotal role, you will be essential to maintaining cost efficiency, effective contract administration, and high financial performance while fostering strong partnerships and adherence to industry standards.
Skills and Requirements Advanced skills in financial analysis and numerical evaluation Strong communication and presenting skills Deep understanding of budgeting, cost estimation, and project management in construction Strong contract administration skills, including negotiation Ability to lead, inspire, and build effective client relationships A willingness to continually learn and adapt to industry trends Must be process driven and technology focussed Experience Needed Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or related field Membership in a professional body such as RICS Solid commercial background within infrastructure projects, with a history of delivering complex projects Experience in team leadership, client management, and implementing health and safety standards
