Commercial Manager, £50,000Company profile:A boutique specialist in the world of construction and energy services is currently expanding and is looking for a Commercial Manager to join them on their journey.With expertise within both LV and HV works, along with reinstalment and civils this is an exciting chance to work on contracts ranging from small projects to major schemes covering all aspects of the distribution network.Working in the Civils/Distribution side of the business you will play a key role in helping deliver a key framework for one of their largest DNOs on the maintenance and modernisation of their existing LV network and other new services.Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies for project profitability and risk management.Manage contracts, budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting, ensuring compliance.Ensure contract adherence, handle variations, and manage commercial documentation.Act as primary point of contact, collaborating with teams and stakeholders.Lead risk management, assess and mitigate financial risks, and mentor junior staff.Necessary experience:Extensive experience as a Commercial Manager in electrical connections, utilities, or construction/engineering.In-depth understanding of contract law, including NEC, JCT, or FIDIC frameworks.Proven track record in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.Expertise in managing large-scale, multi-million-pound projects.Strong negotiation, problem-solving abilities, and a commercial focus.Skilled in Microsoft Office and financial management tools.What to do next:If you are interested click apply now to forward us an up to date copy of your CV.
