Key Responsibilities Project Oversight : Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of projects from inception to completion, ensuring all commercial elements are on track and within budget.
Contract Management : Lead and manage contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and compliance throughout the project.
Cost Control : Monitor and control project costs, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure the effective management of resources.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management : Build and maintain a strong network of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all parties meet project expectations and deliver on time.
System and Process Setup : Establish and implement project systems and processes from the ground up to ensure smooth operations.
Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, contractors, and clients, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Problem-Solving : Tackle challenges head-on, navigating any issues that arise with a solutions-driven approach.
Reporting : Provide accurate and timely commercial reports to senior management and owners.
Required Experience & Qualifications Tier 1 or Tier 2 Experience : Essential, with a proven ability to manage large-scale, high-value projects.
Private Development Experience : Must have experience in private development and a strong understanding of the industry.
Commercial Acumen : Demonstrated ability to handle contract negotiations and manage budgets effectively.
Subcontractor Network : A well-established network of trusted subcontractors and suppliers.
Strong Leadership Skills : Taking charge, making decisions, and guiding teams to success under pressure.
Excellent Communication Skills : Must be able to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Self-Motivated : A proactive and results-driven attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
