Commercial Legal Counsel 5

A leading tech company is hiring a mid-level commercial counsel with in-house experience to join and manage all complex commercial agreements both internally and B2B.

Role Requirements: Experience in an in-house role working on general commercial work, including managing DP and IP where required.
Strong drafting skills on a range of general commercial contracts including service agreements, technology contracts, data sharing agreements, nomination agreements, and other commercial contracts.
Work as the sole business partner to the procurement, partnerships, IT, and people team to provide support and take ownership when managing projects.
Management of the completion of contracts with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Work independently with confidence to escalate complex issues with the wider legal and compliance teams as required.
Maintain and update precedent documents and templates as required.
Skills and Experience: 5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial legal team.
Experience working in an in-house legal team managing complex commercial work.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of communication with stakeholders and the rest of the legal team.
Strong collegiate skills, being able to work with all levels of the legal team and wider business.
Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage workload and work within tight deadlines, and an ability to work and prioritise matters systematically and methodically.
