Commercial Lead

My client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to join their global operations team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost and commercial function, driving project cost and sales reporting, and providing critical financial insights to support operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and consolidate project budgets, forecasts, and management reporting Support project managers with ongoing cost analysis and financial performance tracking Lead the gathering and distribution of data required for financial audits Manage the monthly reporting of project costs and sales positions Advise on the input of cost, sales, and procurement data across systems Contribute to the development of project reporting solutions and tools Assist the business services and operations teams with ad-hoc projects Requirements: Formal qualification in accounting, business, or a related field (desirable) 10+ years of experience working in the energy sector Strong cost engineering and commercial acumen Proficient with financial systems and ERP applications Ability to apply project accounting principles across diverse project environments Track record of working effectively with senior leadership teams Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills Proven experience supporting financial audits Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines Expertise in data management and analysis, particularly using Excel This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of their global operations.
