Coopman London is delighted to partner with a growing private equity boutique that has ambitions to double their AUM by the end of 2025.
Due to their high deal flow and substantial growth this year, the business is adding an additional headcount to their finance team.
Working in close proximity to the CFO and under the direct management of an experienced Fund Controller, this Finance Analyst role will be responsible for business facing duties relating to fund performance, deal launches and the oversight and management of the outsourced functions.
The role will involve: Oversight over fund administration service provider Review of financial statements, management accounts, quarterly NAVs and capital statements Review and maintenance of fund performance metrics and calculations Preparing and presenting financial data for internal and external committees Creation and maintenance of fund budgets and forecasts Managing annual audit process for funds Assisting with fundraising activities, including DDQs and PPMs Monitoring and overseeing regulatory fillings and tax fillings / compliance Understanding LPA compliance for fund launches Leading on investor relations activities Experience required: Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Minimum 3 years Fund Accounting experience in within a fund administrator or experienced in the PE or real estate investment management industry Strong accounting knowledge with the capability to learn the accounting and financial principles related to private equity Understanding of common fund structures and tax issues Ability to work with a small and close knit team To find out more, please apply or contact Cheryl Aust directly.
