What you'll do Vodafone have an exciting opportunity to join the Consumer Commercial Finance team in a key business partnering role. The Commercial Finance Manager will have dual responsibility of being the business partner for PAYM Mobile commercial business cases as well as business partner to Consumer Planning team, responsible for Capex investment decisions and financial control and governance of Consumer Capex.
The role holder will work side by side with the commercial and planning teams on A) new mobile propositions to drive growth B) capex investment decisions and resource prioritisation C) robust financial analysis of all business cases for Head of Consumer finance decision making. Key accountabilities for this role include:
Own the creation & development of PAYM Mobile commercial business cases, providing financial decision support to Proposition, Pricing and Commercial teams and challenge key assumptions.Ensure accurate P&L reflected in business cases, with latest unit economics and standardised business cases across Consumer, including NPV, IRR and payback.Present commercial business cases to senior stakeholders for approval, including Head of Consumer Mobile and CFO, ensuring sensitivity analysis and recommendations are included.Lead overall Consumer business case review and governance process, managing the Commercial Decision Forum with Head of Finance and CLT.Finance business partner to Consumer Planning team, provide financial advice and guidance on prioritisation of Capex projects with limited funds available and provide insights into monthly rolling forecasts.Oversee Consumer Capex spend, ensure financial control, work closely with Technology finance team to co-ordinate end to end process of business case approvals to funds release.Manage Consumer Post investment reviews (PIRs), completing PIRs on Mobile projects and co-ordinating Consumer FDS to complete PIRs for Group.Manage a graduate, oversee day to day management, including setting priorities, reviewing work, appraisals, training and development.Who you are Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Articulate communicator, able to present and explain complex information clearly.Comfortable challenging the business appropriately to create robust business cases.MS Excel, PowerPoint.Telco / eCommerce experience is desirable.Worried that you don't meet all the desired criteria exactly?
