Ascent Recruitment is pleased to exclusively support a successful retail business in South Manchester searching for a Commercial Finance Analyst/Business Partner on a 12-month FTC.
Reporting to an excellent Commercial Finance Manager, you will serve as a key finance contact for the Commercial Team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse weekly trading sales, margin, and KPI reports, identifying key drivers and creating action plans for improvement. Develop, manage, and maintain commercial models, offering insights into performance and trends. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders such as buyers and merchandisers to support and influence decision-making. Own and maintain commercial forecasts and models with large datasets. Work with Finance teams to ensure timely, accurate period-end sales and margin reporting. Contribute to monthly Commercial Business Reviews and Board Packs with reporting and analysis. Conduct detailed analysis on new ranges, initiatives, or underperforming areas, creating action plans to optimise results. Assist with budgets, forecasts, risks, and opportunities. Support audit queries related to sales, margin, and stock. Required Skills:
Part or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt in a dynamic commercial environment Team player with strong relationship-building skills Inquisitive, eager to learn, and share knowledge Salary & Key Benefits:
