Looking to expand their team and support the growth of the business.
They are on the lookout for a Commercial Engineering Consultant that will provide their knowledge and expertise ensuring rail engineering projects are technically and commercially viable.
The key responsibilities for this Commercial Engineering Consultant role are: - Analysing engineering issues and implementing cost effective solutions.
- Identify new opportunities and supporting the development of bids for new projects.
- Ensuring projects meet all required standards and regulations including environmental, safety and engineering guidelines.
- Implementing sustainable practices in engineering projects and aligning them with the environmental and social goals.
- Identify any potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of engineering projects.
Desirable knowledge, skills & experience for this Commercial Engineering Consultant role are: - Engineering degree or equivalent - Engineering/heavy manufacturing background within rolling stock - Client focused - representing the business at networking events and growing connections within the industry.
- Staying up to date on relevant legislations and regulation changes in the Rail Sector.
