You will develop, manage and implement our sales and marketing strategies to support the growth ambitions of the company.
You will also be responsible for business development by building on relationships with existing clients and identifying cross selling and upselling opportunities.
Benefits: Basic Salary £60,000-£80,000 plus generous Bonus/Uncapped commission structure Company pension scheme 33 days holiday including bank holidays Birthday annual leave day Lunch allowance Hybrid working (1-2 days a week working from home) Responsibilities: Own and develop our commercial strategy Report directly to the MD Implement a strategic plan to meet and exceed sales targets while expanding our customer base Investigate and drive new revenue opportunities Manage the entire sales cycle for high value clients from lead to closing the sale.
??Work with our Project Managers to ensure sales opportunities are allocated, quoted and followed up in a timely manner Develop relationships with existing clients to identify and communicate potential cross selling and upselling opportunities Mentor and support our project management team Advise on technical matters to both clients and internal teams where appropriate Attend industry and networking events to explore and capitalise on potential sales opportunities Attending management meetings and contributing to the strategic growth and development of the business Key Skills and Experience: Demonstrated success in a senior commercial role within the event industry, ideally complemented by strong technical expertise in lighting, video, and sound You might be an existing MD, Commercial Director or second in command to one of those roles Proven experience in achieving and surpassing revenue targets Experience in driving and managing the sales process from initial planning through to final closure Strategic self driven sales hunter who thrives on generating their own activity rather than relying on high-volume inbound lead generation Exceptional networking abilities, skilled at building and maintaining robust relationships Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Skilled at engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels within an organisation Ability to use CRM, MS Office and other technology as appropriate
