Milestone, part of the RSK Group, is looking to appoint a Commercial Director on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is located out of their head office near Melton Mowbray, Leicester and can offer hybrid working arrangements. The role will focus on maximising the business' commercial opportunity with effective sales strategy and robust contractual management across multiple industry sectors.Milestone Communications, including Media and Solar & Renewables departments, is a specialist civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering contractor that works in the UK's infrastructure industries.Requirements:Extensive commercial experience in either civil engineering, construction or associated consultancy experience with a demonstrable track record.Significant financial and commercial acumen.Logical and methodical approach to contract management.Experience in implementing contract management systems.Skilled in the production of reports, payment applications, payment certificates, financial reports and close out reports.Experience in drafting contractual correspondence, contract drafting and facilitating collaborative outcomes.Desirable:Experience in steel production, civil engineering or similar industries.Degree qualification desirable (RICS accredited or equivalent).Professional Qualification, RICS, ICES, MCIOB or equivalent.Extensive knowledge of ICC/NEC suite of contracts.
With experience in JCT contracts desirable.An understanding of the methods of measurement and common specifications.Responsibilities:Maximise market opportunity across all industries with a detailed strategy to support growth and align with wider business objectives.Individual tender or bid delivery.Operate at high level on all escalated commercial client queries.Implement success KPI's within the team strategy and report regularly on these to the board.Coordinate and manage the commercial team and process to achieve agreed objectives and ensure team and individuals success in a sustainable, risk-free personnel structure.Salary and Benefits:Salary up to £75,000 DOELife Assurance paymentsGym and lifestyle discounts, shopping and eating out.Cycle to Work SchemeElectric Vehicle SchemeRSK is an equal opportunities employer.
