The Company is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority for regulated activities.
What You Will Be Doing The Commercial Director will be responsible for the Company's mortgage proposition, brand, product management and delivery, pricing, Intermediary management, and all PR/marketing.
The incumbent is an FCA approved Senior Manager and as such is issued with a Statement of Responsibilities specific to the Senior Manager functions held.

Key Accountabilities Work with the KMC team, and the colleagues in Barclays, to shape the company product and distribution strategy and the steps required to deliver optimal solutions ensuring strong business performance and positive customer outcomes.
Ownership of the current mortgage product range including the evolution of current offering, and development of new propositions to ensure we understand our customer groups and our products are designed to meet their needs whilst aligning to Kensington and Barclays business plans.
Produce proposals for relevant committees and the KMC Board on new products and pricing, and product changes ensuring adherence to the NAPA process and governance requirements.
Oversee product performance reviews to assess we are meeting customer needs and make changes as required.
Ensure KMC is complying with Barclays annual product review process.
Complete the annual fair assessment value for the open book and contribute to the closed book assessments.
Direct the sales team, including field-based development managers and phone-based support team assisting, focussed on building, and developing successful relationships with mortgage intermediaries.
Oversee marketing activity through the broker channel, development of new channels and building brand awareness amongst potential borrowers.
Tracking and monitoring industry and competitor trends in the Sales & Marketing space.
Design and delivery of external messaging for KMC covering PR, social media profile, thought leadership, etc.
Own the customer engagement strategy, utilising insight to optimise the customer experience and drive engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
Lead, coach, and mentor a high performing multi-disciplinary team to achieve company goals, deliver measurable results and focus on a positive customer experience.
What You Will Need Extensive experience of leading Commercial teams within Financial Services and within the mortgage industry (ideally specialist lending) Proven experience of successfully leading a high performing multi-disciplinary team.
Strong commercial sense, with an understanding of key financial metrics and customer drivers.
Strategic thinker, with effective communication, presentation, project planning and management skills.
