We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to lead our sales strategy and drive revenue growth. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and expanding our market presence globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Identify key markets, customer segments, and channels for growth. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills, tools, and support to succeed. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and verticals. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations. Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and challenges. Present our solutions effectively, demonstrating how our software can address their specific requirements. Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent lead generation, qualification, and conversion. Monitor and report on key sales metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and market positioning. Provide feedback to inform product enhancements and marketing campaigns. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact sales strategies. Utilize this knowledge to refine and adapt the sales approach. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with prospective clients, ensuring that agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with our business objectives. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software sales, with at least 3-5 years in a senior sales management role. Experience in software or related fields is highly desirable. Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B SaaS environment. Experience in closing high-value deals and managing long sales cycles. Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Experience in building and scaling sales teams is a plus. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions to a wide range of stakeholders. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to drive growth. Technical Aptitude: Understanding of processes and familiarity with Microsoft 365 or similar platforms is an advantage. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
