As a Commercial Contract Manager, you will take the lead in coordinating new bids with customers, by way of developing bid strategies, evaluating risks, and providing mitigations to address the requirements of governance with suppliers.
In addition to this, you will also support in life contracts, ensuring governance, amendments, service levels, charges, and other contractual parameters are managed effectively.Wider responsibilities will also include:Identifying potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, reliability, and competitiveness.Leading end to end contract negotiations including developing and managing contract variations and change control and other contract mechanisms.Reviewing existing tools and deal data to gain insights and drive the strategies for the new bids.
Managing suppliers' finance stability and engage with them risk mitigation plans to prevent any financial distress event with the customers.Conducting regular feedback sessions with business account managers to help drive continuous improvement in supply chain.
Prepare and lead internal and/or external commercial negotiations and attend supplier and customer meetings.Who you are Demonstrable experience of commercial contract management, with large financial value.Excellent procurement/contract negotiation skills to achieve best commercial outcome for Vodafone.An ability to develop commercial contracts based on thorough understanding of legal and ethical environments and contract related KPIs.Proficient understanding of contract law, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.Robust understanding of business, with an aptitude for building sustainable relationships to drive increased business performance and best value outcomes.
