As our first Commercial Client Director, you'll be a visionary leader driving growth and innovation at our technology-led content studio, building high-value client partnerships, leading creative teams, and delivering cutting-edge visual projects while working alongside our Heads of Moving Image and Post-production to shape the future of Dreamlike State.
Job Summary:
As Dreamlike State's first Commercial Client Director (CCD), you will be crucial to our future success.
This pivotal leadership role demands a visionary who can elevate our brand, inspire our team, and drive business growth.
Working in synergy with the Head of Moving Image and Head of Post-production, you will complete our leadership team, leveraging your industry expertise to forge new client relationships, optimise our operations, and facilitate cross-selling opportunities across the Human Network brands.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership Spearhead the growth of existing client accounts while cultivating new high-value partnerships Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to craft and implement an evolving sales and marketing plan Lead pitch development and presentation to prospective clients, showcasing our unique value proposition to ensure we WIN!
Client Relations and Project Management Serve as the primary relationship holder for new and growth clients throughout the entire client journey Oversee project financials, ensuring optimal budget management and profitability Take ownership of work delivery, guaranteeing client satisfaction and project success Team Development and Innovation Inspire and guide our teams to deliver cutting-edge, industry-leading projects and pitches Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the organisation Recruit and mentor new team members as the company expands Industry Engagement and Brand Representation Actively participate in the industry community, serving as a brand ambassador both internally and externally Embody and promote our company's values and behaviours Business Growth and Reporting Collaborate with the leadership team to meet and exceed growth targets Provide regular, insightful reports to the group leadership team on business performance and client satisfaction All other duties appropriate to the role Skills & Experience
Depth of experience as a Senior Account Director or equivalent Commercial Client leadership role Proven track record in delivering video and content projects across diverse media platforms Demonstrated success in driving business growth and managing high-value client relationships Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding KPIs Authentic leadership style that inspires and motivates teams Excellent organisational and project management skills Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving industry landscape Passionate about client experience and service excellence Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills Dedicated to continuous learning and professional development Diversity
