A rare opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Assistant within the Global Partnerships team on a 9 month secondment.
Our Global Partnerships team is responsible for delivering the objectives set by the Tesco Group Agreement Framework.
We lead the Tesco Group in partnering with the largest, most forward thinking Branded suppliers to unlock joint growth opportunities and priorities.
This roles requires a strong commercial awareness, ongoing stakeholders management internally and externally, to develop trusted relationships with suppliers and Tesco Group stakeholders.
You will be at the heart of strategic engagement plans.
You will be responsible for Building on my Commercial acumen I will work closely with the teams in the Product division, across the Tesco Group (Buying teams, Product Proposition, Promotions, Trade Planning), to ensure the relevant commercial strategy for each channel, market & category are aligned and executed efficiently.
Support the delivery of key strategic projects across the product and channel teams Using a combination of data and business understanding to turn data into insight, root causing issues, defining problems, designing creative solutions and implementing them in the business.
Maintaining & developing our suite of insight reports to give our operators and leadership visibility of how the business is performing and what we need to do to improve.
Reporting data accurately and turning it into useful information which has context and supporting narrative.
Owning a project; build engagement, influence relevant stakeholders and deliver change in line with milestones.
Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and hand-over protocols and successfully completing all my training so that I have zero GSCOP breaches.
Ensuring all agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt, and leading a culture of compliance within the team.
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
This role will build your experience, knowledge and network profile to enable you to progress into further commercial roles within categories.
