East Durham College is delighted to announce we are seeking to appoint a fully qualified counsellor/mental health therapist to join our well-established College Counselling Team.The hours can be split across the week subject to business need.
You may be able to select to work full and/or half days (8.30am-12pm and/or 12.30pm-4.30pm) most days of the week.
The greatest need is currently at our Houghall Campus, in Durham, so the majority of hours are likely to be spent there.
This will be discussed further with each shortlisted candidate at interview.East Durham College's counselling/therapeutic service is an essential part of the services we offer to all our students to support them whilst they are studying with us.
It's run by EDC staff for EDC students.
All staff are fully trained professional counsellors or CBT practitioners.The post is part-time (18.5 hours/week) and term time (40 weeks).
