Job DescriptionAs a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, often serving as the first point of contact with our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:Starting your shift at the depot, where you'll be responsible for efficiently loading parcels onto your 3.5 tonne van according to your delivery scheduleSafely operating and maintaining your assigned vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policiesExecuting multi-drop collections and deliveries throughout your designated area, ensuring timely and accurate serviceProviding exceptional customer service when handing over or collecting parcels, representing DPD in a professional and friendly mannerUtilising our mobile technology to update delivery statuses, capture customer signatures, and manage your route effectivelyHandling parcels with care and attention, ensuring they remain in pristine condition throughout the delivery processPromptly reporting any issues or delays to your supervisor and taking appropriate action to resolve themMaintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents that occur during your shiftAdhering to health and safety regulations, including proper use of provided uniform and PPEYour role is vital in upholding DPD's reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.
