The company is the UKs No1 Raw Pet Food and Europe's leading experts on raw and natural dog and cat foods.We are currently recruiting for a number of roles within the warehouse, this role is full time and will be on a temp to perm basis.Night Coldstore Operatives – Sunday 14.00 – 00.00 – Monday to Thursday 17.00-03.00 – These will change in January.Total Hrs 47.5 per week.
– £13.41 per hour.Requirements: Must hold a full UK driving license and own transport.Must be physically fit due to the manual handling of orders.Must have a high level of numeracy.Must work towards and maintain a minimum picking accuracy of 98% over the course of the working week.Must be able to communicate clearly in english as well as read english.Must have previous experience working in a warehouse and be able to work in an industrial freezer.
Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work as part of a team and be able to work on their own initiative in a fast paced environment.
The picking of customer orders both frozen and ambient using electronic scanners, for loading onto either multi drop vans or rigid vehicles.
To carry out the safe loading, operation and maneuvering of company fleet vehicles around the yard in accordance with the UK highway code and law, and to report any defects to the shift supervisor and or manager.To carry out the safe operation of manual handling equipment and aids.To understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.To contribute towards and maintain good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene and health and safety standards throughout the shift.To carry out any other reasonable request by the shift supervisor or manager.
