CNC Turner Permanent Role based in Leighton Buzzard.
Salary paying up to £50k dependant on experience and shift.
Days or Nights We are recruitng for a CNC Turner for a Client in the Leighton Buzzard full time permanent role.
Experience Required Proven time served experience in programming, setting and operating 2 axis turning machines.
Ability to write new CNC programs long hand at the machine with little or no supervision.
Also, editing prewritten programs, the full machine setup including material, tooling, speeds, feeds.
Carry out in-process inspection using measuring equipment.
Producing one off, as well as low to medium volume precision parts in a range of hard and soft metals.
Excellent working knowledge of 2 axis CNC machines, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances.
Solid understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and standards.
Experience of Fanuc controls would be advantageous.
Have a strong working history within the manufacturing industry within a machine shop environment.
Have a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated manner in order to be able to hit the ground running.
Confident in working on parts up to ¢300mm x 3m in length, using lifting equipment provided as some of our work can be large.
Hoist training will also be provided.

Day Shift Hours are Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2.30pm.
Late Shift Hours are Monday - Wednesday 4.30pm - 3.30am, Thursday 4.30pm - 1.30am.
