CNC Turner Setter Coventry £30,000 - £32,000 Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm Friday - 7:30am to 12:30pm Our Coventry based client are a supplier to the aerospace and defence industries for over 40 years, specialising in producing precision components.
They work with a range of materials including brass, aluminium, mild and chromium steels to Inconel and stainless steels.

As an Experienced CNC Turning Machine Setter/Operator ? Setting, and operating fixed head machines ? Interpretation of drawings and 3D digital files ? Produce prototypes / small production runs ? Carry out inspection of your work (CMM and Manual) ? Maintain clean and tidy stations ? What's the job?
? Ideally Apprentice Trained ? Time served / equivalent experience in a precision machining company ? Strong understanding of Fanuc programs with ability to edit, re-run tools etc.
? Able to move offsets ? Able to prove unproven programs, safely ? Competent in inspecting own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality ? Conversant with Lynx and Doosan machinery (essential) ? Multi-axis and sub-spindle ? Working to tight tolerances ? Experience of working with a wide range of materials including , Inconel, titanium, mild steels, brass, aluminium-bronze, bronzes, aluminium, plastics, super duplex etc.
