Cnc / Nc Lathe Setter Operator Machinist

CNC Lathe Setter Location: Portsmouth Hours: 37.5 hours a week.
Monday to Friday Rotating shifts 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 or Night Shifts 22:00 - 06:00 Salary: £19.60 an hour Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an experienced CNC / NC Miller Operator Machinist, required by their client, a leading global manufacturing and engineering company.
This role offers full-time work on a temporary to permanent basis, working rotating shifts.

What are we looking for?
Proving out new programs and Setting and Operating CNC Lathe machinery Fully competent in Lathe Setting, operating and reading FANUC progamming.
Ability to prove out new CNC / NC programs.
Ability to read engineering drawings and carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment.
Must have knowledge of working with stainless steel.
Setting, operating, self-inspection, job recording, reading drawings.
Ideally experience on a 2 axis CNC lathes.
