Based in central Cambridge (close to bus and rail links), this established tech company provide a range of software products that are utilised by energy utility services in the UK and Europe.
Due to the importance of these services, their products need to be robust and well-engineered and so the team's approach to development is methodical and company is expanding their software team and this includes the recruitment of a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join them.
Key responsibilities will include creating secure AWS infrastructure for their cloud-based products, automating workflows and being able to deploy to multiple environments.
This will include use of IaC for automation, testing and production through collaborations with other team members and stakeholders.Requirements Experience as a generalist software developer or systems administrator before moving into DevOps or Cloud engineering.Demonstrable experience working with Cloud technologies including Terraform, Python / Bash (for automation), Docker, CI/CD and general database administration.Good communication skills.
