About the role Our Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant will be responsible for the design and successful delivery of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure projects. You will be working for a Managed Service Provider and will be required to understand the customer's requirements and define and deliver the infrastructure solution.
The Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant will have a varied workload and can expect to be working with customers in the private and public sectors with seats of between 100 and 5000. The business is Microsoft-biased, so we are looking for the Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant to have real-world experience as an engineer working on deployment and infrastructure projects in MS Azure therefore Azure project implementations/project lifecycle experience is essential.
As a Cloud and Infrastructure Consultant, there will be a requirement to travel nationally to new and existing customer sites when required. Expectations are around once a month. There is also a requirement to carry out an Enhanced DBS check.
What youll do You will be required to understand and define technical solutions that meet the customer/prospective customers' requirements. Define and document to a high standard the requirements and the high-level design of the solution, working closely with the technical and project management teams to ensure that the solution is fully understood. Prepare and deliver presentations; face-to-face and remotely. You will be responsible for technically leading Wintel and other assigned projects from start to completion.
