Job Title: Clinical Team Lead - Autism and Neurodiversity Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team at Options Barton School in North Lincolnshire.
As a specialist in autism and neurodiversity, you will play a key role in managing our in-house clinical team and working collaboratively with the school's Senior Leadership team and the Locality Clinical Lead.
The successful candidate will have a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychotherapy or registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
They will also possess valid and up-to-date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g.
HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT, experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs, clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities, experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team, ability to work independently, experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred, and Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team, holding the therapy caseload with the full support of our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growing Clinical Team, contributing to staff training and consultation, and working within overall framework of the service policies and procedures to support the integration of the specific service in the day to day running of each provision i.e., standardised assessments and clinical services.
