****Job Title: Lead Clinician & Occupational Therapist****Location: Heath Farm College – Kent****Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (FTE, dependent on experience)****Hours: 37.5 hours per week 8.30am-4.30pm****Contract: Permanent, 41 weeks** _**(There may be scope for this role to be afull-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touchto discuss)**_**Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required****About the role**We are looking for a Lead Clinician & Occupational Therapist who isexperienced at working with developing independence skills, travel, healthyrelationships, interception & life skills.
An understanding of the educationsystem is desirable and the ability to work systemically as part of a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
The role will involve working closely withschool SMT to identify priorities and will be working to embed clinicalthinking within education practices for the best life outcomes for thestudents.
Collaboration and teamwork are essential skills.
The successfulcandidate will need to do approximately 1 day a week at Heath Farm School toprovide some OT support to Heath Farm School.You will be responsible for holding the therapy caseload with the full supportof our well-established and knowledgeable clinical network and growingClinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation.Both a challenging and rewarding role, this position would suit a resilientand enthusiastic individual, with a therapeutic approach and the ability tomake decisions, as well as manage their own workload and supervise others.This is an exciting and innovative time for the Clinical Team so please get intouch to find out more.Working within overall framework of the service policies and procedures, youwill be supporting the integration of the specific service in the day to dayrunning of each provision i.E., standardised assessments and clinicalservices.

* Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.G.
HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT * Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities * Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team * Ability to work independently * Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred * Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicleFor further information on this role please refer the Job Description andPerson Specification attached.
