Job summary Cromwell House Community Mental Health Team are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist/ Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our successful, friendly and supportive team.

Can be organised, able to prioritise and works well under pressure.
You should also be able to work effectively offering Psychological assessment and treatment working in partnership with service users and their carer's promoting independence and recovery of people with serious and enduring mental health difficulties.
You will also have a strong sense of initiative and an excellent team working ability.
Experience of offering CBT for psychosis and service users with diagnosis of Bipolar disorder would be desired.
Main duties of the job The post holder will primarily be responsible for providing: oCognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based assessment and interventions for people experiencing distressing psychosis and bipolar who use the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) service.
o Behavioural Family Intervention assessment and interventions for families who are supporting a person's recovery from psychosis.
oCBT based assessment and intervention sessions for CMHT service users who are experiencing complex and potentially long-standing problems such as severe anxiety, depressed mood, and trauma.
o Recovery focused group work for people who use the service and/or their family members ( running 'Friends and Family' groups).
The post holder will also: o function as an integral member of the service's multi-disciplinary team, o contribute to psychological aspects of crisis management ocontribute to the supervision and professional development of other staff.
o work within the policies, procedures and guidelines for the Salford Directorate.

27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years Excellent pension Cycle to work scheme Salary sacrifice car scheme Wellbeing programme Blue Light Card Discounts Person Specification Qualification Essential Clinical Psychology Doctorate/ CBT therapy qualification Experience Essential Demonstrable experience of providing CBT for psychosis, PD, and complex affective disorders Demonstrable experience of psychological assessment, formulation and treatment of clients across the age range Demonstrable clinical experience of delivering structured, evidence based, psychological interventions to people with severe and complex psychological problems and specifically people experiencing psychosis and those diagnosed with personality disorders.
Demonstrable experience of adapting psychological therapies to the needs of clients with multiple co-morbidities, including health and cognitive problems.
