The Clinical Practitioner will utilise expert clinical knowledge to provide the full range of clinical duties based on patient needs and centre service offerings with a specific focus on minor illness and injuries. In addition to clinical duties, the Clinical Practitioner is accountable, in conjunction with the Clinical Service Manager, for the clinical governance of and clinical management of patients presenting with an urgent care need, ensuring the service is safe and effective.
The full-time equivalent for us is 40 hours per week.
Full-time and part-time can be considered, depending on availabilities, What you'll work on : Undertake face-to-face consultations with patients, and refer elsewhere when applicable Provide the full range of clinical duties based on patient needs and centre service offerings with a specific focus on minor illness and injuries Provide patient focussed, evidence-based practice to a high standard Supporting the wider MDT to ensure patients are seen by the right person Escalate any clinical issues to the person in charge Support and contribute to a robust clinical governance programme We're looking for An individual registered with relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC) Degree-level registration qualification or equivalent post-registration modules Autonomous practice experience supported with a level 6/7 Minor Illness or Injury qualification Life Support qualifications (or alternative profession specific clinically determined qualifications) Substantial experience (minimum 1 year), post registration, in an acute/urgent care setting face to face.
