We have an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join us as we continue to expand throughout the UK.About the RoleThis role would suit an Optometrist who has 12 months post-registration experience and holds current GOC registration.
You will be willing to expand your horizons and take the leap into the clinical side of optometry.
 Our Optometrists provide independent eye care and make assessments on the need for cataract surgery ensuring patients understand the risks and benefits and providing reassurance throughout.If successful, we will support your professional development.
We can potentially offer training in YAG laser; this is dependant on the sites activity and what services are offered in the area.We are looking for someone who can:Assess and counsel patients for cataract surgery, including discussing expected outcomesEnsure patients understand risks and benefits of surgery with a considerate manner reflecting the patients' needsProviding reassurance from the start to the end of the patient journeyEnsuring post-operative management is undertaken with the support of medical staffUndertake YAG laser with training As the Clinical Optometrist, you will work alongside a wider clinical team to provide safe, effective, efficient delivery of clinical care.
