Job summary St. Luke's Hospice is a local charity providing compassionate care to people whose illnesses are no longer curable.
Our mission is to promote dignity in dying and empower people to make the choices they want, from the moment they are diagnosed.Currently, we are seeking two dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialists to provide maternity cover in Hospice Community Services and help us provide the highest quality of care to our patients.
Main duties of the job As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert advice related to specific conditions or treatment pathways, conduct research and implement new changes that can enhance the patients' health quality.
You will be responsible for prescribing medication, assessing, diagnosing and managing patient problems, providing education and supportive counselling to the patients' and families.
Proven experience in a similar role and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.

Together, we fulfil peoples choices at the end of their life.
We are a charity and the services we provide are free.
We rely on voluntary income from local people to deliver the care they deserve.
