Clinical Nurse Specialist - Haematology/Oncology

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and dedicated nurse to join the Haematology Specialist Nursing team at Salford Care Organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering high quality, personalised care to patients with various haematological malignancies.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will act as the key worker for haematology patients from investigation to initial diagnosis and throughout the whole cancer pathway to ensure coordination and continuity of care.

The post holder will liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, including members of the Primary Health Care Team, to provide specialist nursing knowledge and expertise on all aspects of Haematology-Oncology.

Person Specification Essential Hold a degree or diploma in nursing studies (or possess an equivalent nursing qualification and experience). Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult/ General Level 1 or 2). Demonstrates evidence-based clinical knowledge. IT Skills. Knowledge and experience in Haematology-Oncology. Communicate succinctly, clearly, and accurately both verbally and in writing. Be an effective team member who relates to colleagues at all levels of the Trust with tact and diplomacy. Coordinate your workload and supervise team members, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective patient care. Use reflective practice to continuously improve the standard of patient care.
