Reporting tothe Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will provide strategic clinicaldirection for operational teams whilst focusing on leadership, workforcemanagement, professional development, and training.
Main duties of the job Keyresponsibilities include:Promoting professional leadership to ensure nursing excellence and implement best practices.Leading clinical assurance initiatives to enhance the patient and family experience.Overseeing the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing and social work staff, fostering a supportive work environment.Collaborating with the Care Board to provide assurance on clinical strategy and product development.Acting as the primary point of escalation for clinical issues, supporting both internal teams and client-facing operations.Ensuring alignment with professional andNHS frameworks, consistently prioritising the patients best interests in allaspects of care and decision-making.As a ClinicalNurse Director, you will champion collaboration among all staff involved indelivering client programs, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care andstrategic development.

Person Specification Experience Essential Considerable experience at a senior level in a community or ICB level or similar roles within the private sector.
Experience of managing teams, including professional development and conduct issues.
Experience of managing a range of nursing staff at different bands.
Experience of collaborating with patients and families to improve their experiences.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership or management role.
Excellent working knowledge of CHC and supporting regulatory frameworks.
Experience at Senior Management Level at Board/Sub Board level in a commissioning capacity such as an ICB or predecessor organisation.
Proven ability to lead and motivate clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with quality assurance processes, performance improvement initiatives and leading and managing clinical change.
Qualifications Essential Essential Registered Nurse Level 1 with valid NMC registration Evidence of professional and managerial development, which meets NMC requirements Management or leadership qualification Desirable Desirable Additional Registered Qualification appropriate specialities eg RGN, RM Higher Management degree, diploma.
