Our Client: Our client are a leading law firm that prides themselves on delivering high-quality legal services to their clients across a broad spectrum of disciplines.
Due to continued success, our client are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Grade C Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their growing team in Oxford.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims, providing expert legal advice and support to clients who have suffered harm due to medical errors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career in clinical negligence law while working within a well-regarded team.
Requirements Manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters, including both high-value and complex claims.
Provide expert legal advice and support to clients, including assessing the merits of claims and negotiating settlements.
Prepare and issue court proceedings, managing all stages of litigation through to trial where necessary.
Work closely with experts, medical professionals, and barristers to build strong cases for clients.
Draft legal documents, including letters of advice, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
Maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the process.
Contribute to the business development and marketing initiatives within the clinical negligence team.
Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless service to clients.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in clinical negligence law.
Support and mentor junior team members, as appropriate.
Key Requirements: A qualified solicitor with at least 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in clinical negligence law.
A strong understanding of the legal principles and practical issues involved in clinical negligence claims.
Experience handling a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters, from initial instructions through to settlement or trial.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, experts, and colleagues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal issues.
A proactive and client-focused approach to legal work.
A commitment to continued professional development and staying up to date with developments in clinical negligence law.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
