Job summary We are looking for a highly skilled, enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated HCPC Registered Clinical Lead Podiatrist to work alongside the current Clinical Lead Podiatrist on a part-time basis working with our teams based across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.
This role presents an exciting opportunity, working collaboration with Operational, Clinical and Professional Leads to have a positive impact on clinical delivery of Podiatry Services across the organisation and influence strategic planning and service development in line with the NHS Long Term Plan to develop our podiatry and wider Trust workforce and care pathways to assure sustainable, high-quality services for individuals in our community.
As a senior member of the podiatry team, you will be expected to lead on, and contribute to, a wide variety of service development and quality improvement initiatives, in line with the NHS Long Term Plan, AHPs Deliver and aligned Podiatry and Trust objectives, in We are looking for an individual who demonstrates Trust values and behaviours, mental flexibility, and capacity to compromise, seeing the bigger picture, resilience, a solution-focused mind-set, being a team player, and ability to make a decision.
Due to the nature of this role you will be required to adequately travel across a large geographical area.
The role is / hours per week and will entail co-working with an existing Clinical Lead on a part time basis to provide an overall Clinical Lead wte.
Main duties of the job As a Senior Podiatry Lead within this team you will be expected to deliver advanced podiatric patient assessment and diagnosis for a highly complex clinical caseload covering adult patients.
This may involve a range of complex clinical undifferentiated or diagnosed conditions using an advanced scope of practice.
You will hold a post-registration qualification, demonstrate competence in all four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice, and be skilled in the delivery of autonomous care requiring complex decision making and high levels of personal responsibility.
A clear commitment to professional development, and drive to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, alongside experience in leading, supporting, and supervising colleagues is required.
Support will be available for completion of MSc Advanced Clinical Practice or agreed alternative.

Person Specification QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING Essential Professional Qualification and Registration as a Podiatrist Masters level award or equivalent or willingness to work towards Post Graduate Leadership Qualification/relevant experience Desirable Relevant validated clinical courses University accredited modules Evidence of teaching at a multiprofessional level.
To have or be working towards an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Qualification.
