Brownbill Case Management exists to deliver an outstanding case management service to children, young people and adults who have enduring and complex health conditions and injuries.
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead to join Brownbill Case Management based in our offices in Thame, Oxfordshire.
As part of the Active Care Group (ACG) Case Management Division, Brownbill Case Management Services (BAL) provides a specialist case management service primarily for individuals who have been affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, complex orthopaedic injuries and amputation.
We work across the Midlands, London and Home Counties, South East and South West regions.
Job Purpose: To provide strong and strategic clinical leadership, for all aspects of services offered by Brownbill Case Management, whilst demonstrating care, compassion and respect for all our clients and staff.
What you'll be working: Full-time (35 hours per week) Reporting to: Operations Director Salary: £60K-£65K Responsible for: Case managers Senior Case managers Assistant Case managers Location: BAL office in Thame, Oxfordshire Hybrid working available but regular attendance at the office will be required Visits with case managers and clients What you'll be doing: Key Responsibilities: To ensure that our clinical services are delivered to the highest possible standards of care, to clients and their families.
To ensure that our service is provided in the most cost-effective and efficient way.
To audit and review client documentation to ensure it meets/exceeds BAL's standards of practice.
To support with the Compliance Coordinator to ensure that all processes are in place to ensure that all central reporting is maintained and completed to specific deadlines.
To ensure that all CQC requirements are met/exceeded, including preparation for CQC inspections and ensuring that BAL evidence good working practices ensuring high quality care for our clients and ensuring that the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive, well-led.
To support the selection, interviewing and development of both associate and employed case managers to ensure the right skills and experience mix to meet current and future business needs.
To carry out appropriate induction and training of case managers, to ensure that their performance meets/exceeds BAL's standards of practice.
To provide clinical and professional supervision to case managers, to include regular client reviews, an annual appraisal and a professional development plan.
To monitor caseloads, to ensure that the case managers are fully employed with the appropriate work in liaison with the Operations Manager on new enquiries.
To ensure that any safeguarding concerns, complaints or incidents are appropriately managed and reported in line with BAL, ACG and CQC requirements.
In conjunction with the Operations Manager, be responsible for implementation of client health and safety legislation and ensuring that it is adhered to.
To support the wider team of ACG Case Management Clinical Leads, by attending regular meetings.
In conjunction with the Operations Manager, promote BAL and develop business opportunities and develop relationships with referrers, to meet the marketing/business goals through attendance at networking events and attendance at business development meetings To work with the Clinical Team to provide case manager training, study days and lunch and learn sessions to include selecting suitable subjects to cover and sourcing suitable professionals to present.
To manage your own CPD and complete any mandatory training that is required.
What you'll have: Professional Qualification Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy Diploma or degree in Physiotherapy CQSW/DipSW or other relevant Social Care qualification RGN Nursing Qualification Degree in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC Registration Skills You must have a structured and logical thinking style that is comfortable both at a detail level and at a directional level.
You must have strong influencing skills that will allow a positive relationship to be built quickly with case managers and referrers.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to supervise and manage staff.
You must have excellent project management skills.
You must have an understanding of personal injury litigation process.
You should be IT literate.
