Our team includes 10 vets (including one Clinical Director), 3 RVNs, 3 auxiliary nurses, and 5 receptionists across two branches: our main practice in Stranraer and a branch in Newton Stewart.

Latest small and large animal ultrasoundDigital radiographyBull and TUP fertility kitFull IDEXX suiteThe RoleWorking alongside our current Clinical Director, who specializes in cattle health and production, you'll primarily focus on small animal clinical work.
Your responsibilities will include consulting, operating, and mentoring junior vets, with the opportunity to pursue a special interest in areas such as internal medicine, orthopaedics, ultrasound imaging, or exotics. As Clinical Director, you'll also play a vital role in guiding both clinical and non-clinical aspects of the practice, collaborating with the Practice Manager, Area Director, and Area Support Manager to shape the clinic's direction, supporting the team as the Vet GDP Adviser and mentoring junior vets.

Working up to 40 hours per week across 5 days.
2:4 Saturdays (9am-12pm) with no OOH.
