Our client is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon and leader to become the Clinical Director at their newest branch in a beautiful commuter town in Hertfordshire.
You will be responsible for the delivery of overall clinic performance from clinical, financial and people perspectives, and you will have autonomy to lead the clinic within the aims and model of the larger group.
You will directly line manage, support, and develop the vet team, the nursing director, and the practice director, while being supported and guided yourself by the wider leadership team.
You will spend 80% of your time clinically, allowing all team members to work to their maximum potential and ensure excellent teamwork.
You will be the figurehead of the clinic and lead by example, and you will be expected to advocate for and promote the practice's aims and ethos within the veterinary industry.
They understand the importance of wellbeing to the whole team, and you will be responsible for developing a culture of honesty, openness, respect and inclusion.
Of course, you will have responsibility over the business side as well, directing the clinic strategy on a local level, overseeing critical areas and ensuring that membership targets are achieved.
You will be responsible for budget planning, financial performance and debt management, working within the allocated budget to drive and deliver financial performance.
