About The Role As Clinical Development Manager you will champion quality within our organisation and be responsible for guiding, instructing and supervising professional nursing staff, student nurses and health care assistants throughout the Group.
A key aspect of the role will involve the provision of effective clinical mentorship through supporting and encouraging the care team to manage their own learning, to develop their skills, maximise their potential and achieve proficiency and competency in all aspects of their role.
You will be well versed in the provision of clinical training both face to face and remotely and have a good working knowledge of effective coaching and mentorship skills.
The Clinical Development Manager will have a can-do, upbeat demeanour with the ability to engage, motive and inspire individuals to succeed.

  About the Role: Duties of the Clinical Development Manager include:  ·         Mentoring staff to drive continuous improvement and high-quality patient centred care.
Effectively identifying quality or performance concerns and appropriately responding to individual learning need, through the planning, implementation and evaluating of learning interventions.  Supporting individuals working through their induction programme and ensuring milestones are appropriately achieved to a high standard and within a timely manner.
Maintaining regular touch points with learners to allow for evaluation of progress, reiteration of expectation and the provision of comprehensive feedback.
Provisions of regular progress reports to Registered Home Managers and wider business.
·         Providing academic, professional and practical hands-on support to international nurses preparing for their OSCE examination.
Meeting deadlines, balancing multiple projects and prioritising workload effectively.
·         Facilitating additional support for the care team, in line with requests from the Registered Home Manager as required.

Essential Criteria: ·         Registered Nurse with active NMC Pin and minimum 5 years post registration experience.
·         Excellent working knowledge of regulatory standards.
·         Experience in facilitating learning and development for Health Care Professionals, including planning, implementing and evaluating training/coaching interventions.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·         Competent IT skills, including experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
