We are thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our committed team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital on a permanent, full-time basis.
Located in Staffordshire, Ivetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) facility, providing specialised inpatient care for children and young people facing severe, complex, and enduring mental health challenges.

As part of the ACG Mental Health Network and a key partner in the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative, led by Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, we are deeply committed to delivering the highest standards of care.
We follow a clinically-led, person-centred model of care, developed with input from doctors, nurses, psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other experts, along with feedback from our young people and their families.
Our approach is tailored to meet each individual's unique needs, using evidence-based practices to inform our treatment strategies.
Our on-site Ofsted-registered school ensures that young people can continue their education while receiving care, as long as they are able to attend.

What you'll be working: Our standard working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing: Keeping people safe from harm and protecting their human rights Complete assessment and clinical formulation of patients' problem behaviours and treatment needs Provide evidence based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of difficulties Evaluate the effectiveness of individual and group treatment programmes Direct and support others to carryout evidence-based clinical psychology interventions Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed Maintain CPD of an HCPC Registered Practitioner Clinical Psychologist and to ensure competence in relation to the administration and scoring to psychological assessments and risk assessments Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, and carers What you'll have: HCPC registration BPS m embership Previous experience within a CAMHS setting Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
