OUR VALUES IN ACTION • Care and Compassion • Quality and Teamwork • Dignity and Respect • Openness, honesty and responsibilityWe are seeking to recruit a first level registered nurse as a Vaccination & Immunisation Coordinator to support leading the nursing immunisation team and co-ordinating the delivery of vaccination across the Scottish Borders.
You will have some line management responsibility for vaccination staff and provide clinical supervision to vaccinators regularly.Working alongside the Senior Change Nurse you will be accountable for the assessment of a high-quality immunisation service that is being delivered in a variety of settings across NHS Borders.
You will work closely with colleagues in the vaccination service and public health department on the wider vaccination and immunisation agenda.You will be in a position of promoting excellence in organisational behaviour and demonstrate core values are embedded in practice.You will have the skills and insight required to initiate and maintain effective communication and working relationships with a wide range of managers, clinicians and other staff across the whole health system.Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week).
For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
