GMMH Information, Management and Technology (IM&T) department is looking for an enthusiastic clinical change manager to join IM&T's digital project management team.
The IM&T digital project management team deliver a wide range of projects throughout GMMH's services.
From the transformation of medicines management processes, to innovation projects, such as pilots for digital physical observation recording and validating whether augmented reality can improve response times for care.
As a core part of the project team, you will work alongside project managers to engage stakeholders, supporting them through change and embracing new ways of working.
Additionally, you will use your clinical knowledge and experience to ensure that projects are clinically led from the start.
You will hold a focus on delivering benefits for service users, carers, staff and our wider communities.

Summary of main responsibilities: To be a pro-active member of the Information Management &Technology (IM&T) department, contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement.
Effectively managing the change process within projects, for the IM&T department, from initiation to go live on a number of allocated projects.
Facilitating the smooth adoption to new technologies into clinical settings.
Ensuring that there are effective communications with all stakeholders and that any clinical views or concerns are fully understood and addressed effectively.
Working within the principles of a PRINCE2 environment.
Influencing the care of Service Users and Carers, improving efficiencies and reducing costs by ensuring that benefits associated with projects are fully realised.
Providing support to junior members of the PMO.
Being central to the continual development of the PMO and its functionality.
To act as a conduit between the IM&T and clinical services.
To be visible, available and supportive to clinical colleagues and all stakeholders To represent the IM&T at relevant internal and external events as required.

Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional Evidence of commitment to life long continual development Desirable Health technology related qualification Project Management / Change Management / Quality Improvement qualification Recognised management /leadership qualification.
Experience Essential Experience of delivering digital projects or clinical change/quality improvement within mental health services Experience of leading or supporting on projects involving stakeholders from a number of different disciplines, in order to improve the quality of care Proven ability of delivering clinical changes.
Previous experience of project management or quality improvement within a clinical area.
Experience of working with complex information and using persuasive and effective negotiating skills in connection with information Experience of managing complex change in clinical surroundings and achieving expected benefits.
Extensive experience in the planning and delivery of significant organisational/clinical change Extensive experience of process mapping and service redesign Experience of group facilitation.
Experience of acting as a role model for others in embracing change and driving improvements in care Desirable Experience of working on digital project implementations Experience of using key health technologies, such as Electronic Patient Records Experience of representing your department/service/area of expertise Experience of managing projects using recognised project management methodologies Experience of managing change using recognised change management methodologies Knowledge Essential To have appreciation of best practice techniques for the delivery of clinical change.
Sound understanding and knowledge of change management concepts such as process mapping, process redesign, stakeholder expectation management.
Understanding of the current NHS mental health strategies and action plans.
Knowledge of the use of clinical systems in practice.
Understanding of how mental health services operate.
Desirable Understanding of the current NHS mental health challenges Knowledge of GMMH project management and staff management policies and procedures.
To have knowledge of NHS Data and Digital Technology standards and strategies (What Good Looks Like, Data Saves Lives, The Digital Health and Care Plan).
