Job Description Our Client has a fantastic opportunity for a clinical Assessor to work in their department of work and pensions(DWP).
This can be a Hybrid and remote vacancy (1 Hour living distance from Durham.
)\n\nClinical Assessor Permanent \nSalary for these roles, £37,500-£39,500 - OTE ( opportunity to earn ) £38,480-£43,450 \nLocation: Hybrid and remote roles available\n\nThis position is to undertake assessments for Personal Independence Payment required for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), and to work as part of a successful, integrated team and contribute to the contract at a local level, ensuring that quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are all achieved.
Full training is provided including a comprehensive eLearning program and five-week full time training course.\n\nJob Role:\n\n*To analyse and interpret clinical information and medical evidence and provide a report in a professional and concise manner.\n\n*To work to agreed standards/targets and to respond positively to feedback.\n\n*Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with both medical colleagues and administrative support staff.\n\n*To undertake recorded and video assessments where required.\n\n*Have highly developed communications skills and be able to respond to rapidly changing work environment.\n\n*To work unsupervised and use own initiative however know limitations and ask for support where necessary.\n\nQualifications, Experience & Skills Required:\n\n*Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with current PIN and a minimum of one year post registration experience.\n\n*Previous experience of disability assessment/clinical decision making e.g.
A & E or NHS Direct is desirable.\n\n*Ability to multi-task demonstrating that you are able to listen, type and talk at the same time whilst controlling the assessment.\n\n*Strong IT skills with experience of using a range of software.\n\n*Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.\n\n*Evidence of responding to unexpected changes by adopting a flexible approach to work.\n\n*Evidence of on-going professional development.\n\n\nIn Return client offers:\n\n*Excellent Salary\n*Option of working Hybrid and remote\n*Excellent Training\n\n \nFor more information, please contact \n
